Regional Operations Manager - Minneapolis, MN

Ronnoco Beverage Solutions, the Midwest's leading supplier of speciality coffees and complete beverage programs, is looking for a Regional Operations Manager (ROM) to be located in the Minneapolis, MN area. The ROM organizes, directs and plans for the daily operations of the routes located within the territory. This position works closely with the District Service Manager and service routes to achieve department goals, to execute Ronnoco's vision, building and maintaining positive relationships with customers both externally and internally.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides direction and supervision of District Service Managers and Service Technicians.
  • Identifies, facilitates and supports opportunities for process improvements including warehouse inventory, parts inventory, and performance KPI's.
  • Provides leadership in problem solving and conflict resolution with customers, employees, and vendors. Provides mentoring/training to promote the development of the team.
  • Builds relationships with customers in order to grow within their assigned territory
  • Partners with sales team to approach customers with samples, marketing material
  • Reviews zero sales accounts with Route Sales and sales team on a consistent basis
  • Collects and provides statistical and financial analysis as requested by the Director of Service Operations related to processes, service metrics, staffing or other operational issues.
  • Monitors expenses and organizational resources to achieve department targets.
  • Works with other departments in problem analysis and seeks innovative win-win resolutions.
  • Accomplishes timely job performance evaluations for directly supervised staff and assists supervisors in their evaluation of employees as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent; or five to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have five years administrative/managerial experience in customer service industry.
  • A personal presence which is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity, and customer focus with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the mission, vision, goals and values of Ronnoco Coffee.
  • Must display good verbal and written communication skills and be able to professionally receive and follow oral instructions.
  • Must possess problem analysis, resolution and active listening skills.
  • Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints
  • Should have an intermediate level of knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret and perform service using a variety of technical instructions and to demonstrate a strong aptitude in troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex wiring diagrams.
  • Ability to sit, stand, bend for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to climb step ladders.
  • Ability to use Smart phone capabilities for work purposes.
  • Must display good verbal and written communication skills and be able to professionally receive and follow oral instructions.
  • Must possess problem solving skills.
  • Team player with the ability to maintain a positive attitude and partner with employees and managers.
