Ronnoco Coffee, the Midwest's leading supplier of specialty coffee, is currently looking for a Lab Technician to report to our QA Manager in our main coffee manufacturing facility in St. Louis, MO. The person in the lab support role will be responsible for analytical testing of our products, monitoring of daily activities related to HAACP and Food Safety requirements, data collection, determination of corrective and preventive actions, and enforcement of our GMP rules and SQF system.


  • Accomplish quality and regulatory tracking and results by independently gathering data, giving feedback, and making decisions based on expectations.
  • Accountable for observation and follow-up to determine if CAPA solutions are working.
  • Responsible for performing analytical testing and sharing process improvement ideas. Must be lean manufacturing oriented and have familiarity with GMP/regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure accurate production setup and continuous monitoring for quality standardization.
  • Attend production and quality meetings to provide information and to deliver results as needed.
  • Maintain work flow by monitoring steps of the process: observe control points and equipment; monitor personnel and resources; study methods; develop reporting procedures and systems; faciliate corrections to malfunctions within process control points.
  • Initiate and foster a spirit of cooperation within and between departments. Contribute to a team effort.
  • Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing quality and regulatory standards.
  • Create and revise systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices, record keeping systems, forms of control; and implementing change.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of control points, equipment and resources. Maintain compliance with policies and procedures.


  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2+ years' experience in a related role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, including Excel, required.
  • Experience with GP (Dynamics Great Plains) preferred.
  • Quality and regulatory knowledge required.
  • Experience in tracking and trending data.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check
