Ronnoco Coffee, the Midwest's leading supplier of specialty coffee, is looking for an Inside Sales Account Manager to join our Foodservice & Office Coffee Sales team in our main office in St. Louis, MO. The Inside Sales/Account Manager reactively supports the sales team by handling customer orders and issues (ordering equipment, products, and graphics) and proactively by selling new products and programs and updating customer records in CRM. The person in this role may also visit accounts in the local area from time to time.

Responsibilities:

  • Use database management system or CRM program to provide reports and data to management
  • Oversee new account set-up process
  • Understand regional account customer base for existing accounts
  • Support regional sales team in support of revenue growth and customer retention
  • Provide customer routing and scheduling information as needed
  • Provide forecasts for new and existing business
  • Work with inventory planner to ensure new business has been loaded into production plan
  • Maintain high level of product and service equipment knowledge
  • Ensure special price files are entered prior to first sale
  • Advise sales of changes in customer ordering patterns
  • Interface with customers, plant operations, sales managers, and warehouses to resolve various customer issues
  • Generate customer correspondence as needed
  • Respond to all customer requests immediately 
  • Review sales trends for assigned geographical area and report any changes
  • Assist sales with reports and other data as requested
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3-5 years' experience in a sales support/administrative role
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to quickly learn software applications
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interperonal relations skills
  • Experience selling and solving customer needs over the phone
  • Strong analytical, multitasking, and organizational skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Experience with CRM programs
  • Occasional travel may be required
